Allison DeMarcus is a former Miss Tennessee Teen USA, Miss Tennessee America and Miss Tennessee USA and is the only woman in pageant history to represent the state of Tennessee at the Miss Teen USA, Miss America and Miss USA pageants. DeMarcus began working with Country Music Television in January 2007 when she co-hosted the Miss America Pageant with Mario Lopez and has worked as a television personality for Country Music Television for ten years. Allison is married to Jay DeMarcus of the country music supergroup, Rascal Flatts. In 2020, Allison and Jay - along with their adorable children - warmed hearts in their own NETFLIX reality show, DeMarcus Family Rules. Additionally, the couple has appeared together on The Chew, NASHVILLE, Good Morning America and Chrisley Knows Best. When she is off camera, DeMarcus enjoys serving in her third year as President of the Board of Directors of Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital and recently finished chairing an $18M Pediatric Cancer Campaign. She also enjoys serving as a Board Member for the Vanderbilt Ingram Cancer Center’s Board of Overseers, and is a Board member for the Memorial Foundation on the Grants Committee. She formerly served on the Board of Directors for Cheekwood, The Women’s Fund, Sigma Epsilon Chi Omega Advisory Board at Vanderbilt, Chi Omega’s National Recruitment Team and the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Middle Tennessee, and has enjoyed volunteering for The Nashville Symphony, Sexual Assault Center, Swan Ball, Nashville Humane Association, Nashville Ballet, Second Harvest Food Bank, Nashville Alliance, Warner Parks, The Frist Center, Nashville Zoo and the Oasis Center. Over the past two decades he has judged state competitions in fifteen states. Chris currently serves as a facilitator for National Judges Seminars across the country. An avid runner and biker, Chris is also a certified fitness instructor. As a former competitive athlete, Chris is familiar with the extreme competition and pressure pageant contestants face. Chris holds bachelors and masters degrees from University of Tennessee and the University of West Georgia with an Educational Specialist Degree in Administration from Lincoln Memorial University. A retired teacher, principal and district administrator, Chris is now an Affiliate Broker with Keller Williams Realty. She is a graduate of the University of Northern Colorado with a degree in Elementary Education and Fine Arts and has a Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a Specialization in Creative Arts from Leslie University in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Suzi has been involved in pageantry for many years as her daughter, Katee, was Miss Colorado Teen USA 1998, Miss Colorado USA 2001 and Miss Colorado America 2003. She served as Executive Director for the Miss Colorado Pageant for fifteen years, has judged state pageants across the country and was also a member of the National Advisory Council. Suzanne has had many years of dance training but now is an avid decorator and has her own lifestyle blog titled Just So Suz. She loves to spend time with her wonderful family and enjoys retail therapy, reading and traveling. scott@missvolunteeramerica.net Scott Hilburn has been involved in pageants for the past 18 years. He has served in a variety of roles in the industry including coach, consultant, choreographer, host, producer, and director. Having judged in various systems from Miss United States to the Miss Universe Organization over the years, Scott is a certified judge and a regular behind the judge’s table. He has judged state pageants in nine states over the past five years across the country. For ten years, he served as the Executive Director of Miss Nashville, a preliminary to the Miss Tennessee Volunteer Pageant. Scott has also served as the Communications Director for the Miss Tennessee Volunteer Pageant. Scott is currently serving as Chief Administrative Supervisor for State Pageants in the Miss Volunteer America system. In his new position, he is working with State Directors and volunteers to provide resources, communication and consistency between various state programs. A graduate of Middle Tennessee State University, Scott has called Nashville home for the past fifteen years. He has a successful career as an Account Executive in outside sales for Yellow Corporation and has been with the company for the past seven years. In his spare time, Scott enjoys listening to live music, Tennessee Titans football, and spending time outdoors with his pup, Miles. stacy@missvolunteeramerica.net Stacy has been in the printing industry for over 22 years with thirteen of those years at TIPS Printing, Inc. Stacy loves the relationships that she has developed over those years and values the level of service, commitment and quality that TIPS provides their customers. These qualities in the company assist her customers in growing their business for years to come. Originally from Lexington, Tennessee, she graduated from Lexington High School. Stacy now resides in the big town of Oakfield, Tennessee, with her husband, Keith, and her two outstanding children, Baylee and Dalton. Baylee is a 21-year old Chemistry Major at Mississippi State University. This May, Baylee will receive her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with an ACS (American Chemical Society) Concentration. Baylee will be attending Vanderbilt University in the fall of 2022 where she will be pursuing her PhD in Chemistry. Dalton is an eighteen-year-old freshman at Meridian Community College on a Baseball Scholarship. As a Student-Athlete, Dalton is studying Psychology. Dalton has been on the Dean’s List for several semesters and will be minoring in Spanish. Stacy loves being actively involved in all of her kids activities from Dance, Cheer, Volleyball, Basketball and Baseball. Stacy is always the “Team Mom.“ Stacy has been actively involved in the Miss Volunteer America Organization since its inception playing a role in most facets of the program. Stacy has enjoyed working with each state organization to secure all social media and web-based sites and is always there to help our directors launch! When she is not fighting Google regarding passwords, Stacy is collecting headshots, creating 9,2 million Dropbox shareable folders and laying out pages in the program book for both the Teen and the Miss Programs. When we aren’t monopolizing her time at MVA, Stacy enjoys volunteering for the American Cancer Society and being a crazy cat lady to the Fearless Four: Stormy, Cali, Legend and Benzie. Being left-handed, it makes her one of the 12% population being in their “right” minds! References
