I have made this recipe for many, many years. I love it, my husband loves it and all of my guests have loved it and asked for the recipe. I do cut down a small amount on the Italian soup seasoning as it is quite salty.

This recipe is simple and delicious!! I used a combination of thighs and breasts. I browned them prior to putting them in the crock pot, as instructed. About an hour before it was finished cooking, I took them out of the pot and shredded them with a fork, returning them to the pot to finish cooking, making it easier to spoon over the rice when time to plate the meal. My husband and I both loved it. I served it with sautéed mixed veggies of zucchini, squash, red peppers and sweet onions. Simply Delicious!!

very good. I would add more liquid & I would not use big chicken breasts.

This is a new favorite crockpot recipe. I always add chopped onion & garlic, sauteed after browning the chicken, then deglazed with a little extra wine. After wine cooks off, place in cooker with chicken. The only other change I make is using only Italian seasoning instead of dressing mix to cut down on the sodium.

I tried a similar recipe to this one and the other one came out so much better. It used chicken cutlets and the end result was like pulled chicken. I had to use a knife for this recipe. This recipe also turned out soupy but was nonetheless delicious over pasta.

My 6 and 11 year old grandkids - who will never touch the mushrooms in salad - fought over the mushrooms in this dish. They placed the recipe in our "keep these ingredients on hand at all times" list. The adults loved it just as much. It's never better than when something this easy is a crowd pleaser.

My husband, son and father loved this recipe. I did use the italien dressing mix on the chicken before I cookeded and then put the rest in the soup/cr mixture and omitted the 2t. seasoned salt. The chicken was so tender it fell apart and leftovers were just as good. This is a keeper and will be made again.

Way too salty. Does not need the italian dressing mix. Cream cheese was too much with the creaminess of the soup.

Really pretty good. I doubled up on mushrooms and I wish that i had sauteed them first becuase they left my sauce a little watery. Overall good flavor and I would use the sauce base again. Maybe instead of italian dressing some grainy mustard or pesto would make a nicely flavored sauce.

Made this dish last night for a football party and everyone LOVED it! When I blended the cream cheese, soup, Italian seasoning, etc I thought it would too salty, but I cooked it longer than the 4 hours because the game took longer and it was excellent. The chicken was so tender, you could cut it with a fork. Some guests asked for a second helping of rice with just the mushroom sauce. Every guest asked for a copy of the recipe. It doesn't get much better than that.

I eliminated the seasoned salt, used cream of chicken soup instead of cream of mushroom, used half of the cream cheese, and used chicken broth instead of white wine. It turned out great!! Everyone loved it!! The kids sopped up all the gravy with french bread. I will definitely make this a regular in our rotation!!!

I made this with 99% fat free cream of mushroom soup and cooking white wine (would prefer actual white wine but didn't have any on hand.) It was very good! Served over whole grain rice and broccoli, made about 8 servings but that probably just means my servings were smaller than intended. Will make again--would love to try this with biscuits!

This turned out very good and I've made it a couple times. Second time I didn't add all of the italian seasoning because it came out way too salty the first time, but other than that is was great!

This recipe absolutly yummy and creamy is very accurate. The only changes I made was to add diced roasted red bell pepper from a jar, only added half of the italian seasoning pkg as there was a lot of salt in it. Instead I added a tsp dried Italian seasoning and garlic powder. I served it over egg noodles, but would have preferred rice. French style green beans was our vege. I would definatley make this again and serve it to company.

Love the versatility of this recipe. I have made it twice now substituting 2 cream of celery soup. Since it is just my husband and I, I can make the chicken on Sun and use it all week but still feel like we have a different meal every other night. Put on top of cornbread with enchilada sauce, mix it with rice and broccoli, mix it with pasta or use the chicken in a chicken corn soup.

An easy dish to prepare. We serve it when we have company that will be sharing a daytime activity and we need dinner ready when we get home. So far, we have nothing but rave reviews and requests for the recipe. It's a keeper. Usually served with white rice and yeast rolls.

This was yummy. Next time I would add more mushrooms. I stayed away from the seasoning salt due to other reviews. My husband and I ate this the first night as is...2nd night I cut up the chicken and and added it and the sauce to pasta....3rd night we made quesadillas out of the last pieces of chicken sans the sauce.

This is so good! I've made it a couple of times - and I didn't use the slow cooker. I was in a hurry both times, and cooked my chicken - almost all the way through and threw in the other ingredients. Fabulous! The first time I made it, I used mushrooms from a jar. The second time, I used fresh mushrooms - the fresh tasted much better, of course. Also, I substituted apple juice for the dry white wine. Delicious!!!

Watch the salt! The dressing mix has alot in it already. This dish was good however, it just tasted like Mushroom soup on top of chicken. The gravy was nice and thick. Next time I would use boneless chicken since the chicken cooked really tender and we had to watch for bones. It was fairly easy too.

Great everyday recipe. Substituted the wine with chicken stock. Don't use as much seasoned salt as called for in the recipe. Barely sprinkle the seasoned salt on the chicken before browning. The Italian dressing packet has plenty of salt/spices - no need for extra. I did substitue onion/chive cream cheese for more flavor. Served with a fruit salad and was very satisfied.

I loved this, but probably because I altered it a bit: Used cream cheese with chives instead of plain, & added a ton of (jarred, pre-minced) garlic. Used boneless skinless chicken thighs the 2nd time I made it, and it was much better than with the breasts. The meat fell apart, it was so tender. Also, used canned mushrooms the 2nd time, as I was out of fresh. Better with fresh, but would do it again with canned, in a pinch. Yummy!!

Seriously, my family DEVOURED this. I won't rate it extra easy, because you have to brown the chicken first, but I browned the chicken on Saturday night, started the crock pot before church the next day, and the timing was perfect for Sunday Lunch. We've made it several times, and shared with friends who also love it. The veggie/rice recipe that comes with it is also very good.

There was NOTHING wrong with this recipe. In fact, my picky husband told to me to move it to the top of the list. I cooked the chicken in the skillet until fully cooked because I was pushed for time, but that was the only change I made. It was only in the crockpot for about 2 hours but was tender, juicy and delicious. Great for an everyday dinner. He had a baked sweet potato with his & I had green beans with mine. We'll definitely do this one again!

This is a great dish for a cold evening. It's rather rich, especially when served with the wild rice but I loved it! Makes great leftovers too. It doesn't need as much seasoned salt as called for though. I used chicken broth rather than white wine and it worked just fine.

This recipe looked great, but all the reviews saying it was too salty caused me to make just a few adjustments. It turned out great! Even my picky 11 year-old loved it. It does NOT need 2 tsp. of seasoned salt, just sprinkle the chicken breasts and you'll only use 1/4-1/2 tsp. I only used 3/4 of the packet of Good Seasonings and added a teaspoon of refrigerated jarred garlic. I also used cream of celery low fat soup. I used whipped cream cheese because it blends easily. I used baby bella mushrooms - they were so tasty. Served it over white rice. We will definitely make it again.

my daughter made this recipes with reduced sodium soup and it was still too salty. Next time I will either skip the seasoned salt or use Mrs Dash. served with plain rice so that helped the saltiness
